Over 30 years ago, Scanway Catering was born in Unni Simensen’s kitchen. It’s important to us to continue to appreciate Scanway’s rich and long history because without Unni we wouldn’t be here today! Under new ownership as of August 2017, Scanways goal is to continue to pay homage to what Scanway was known for but to add our own flare into the mix.
Our experienced team brings over 70 years combined experience in all facets of Food & Beverage catering. In the kitchen, Chef Bryan Corkery brings his extensive repertoire of experience having previously served as the Executive Chef for Fox Harb’r Golf Resort and Spa, Executive Chef of The Five Fisherman Restaurant and Grill, Chef of The Press Gang Restaurant and Oyster Bar and finally the Executive Chef at The Westin Nova Scotian.
Front of the House operations are handled by General Manager, Sarah Williams having left after completing her tenure as the Food and Beverage Manager at the Westin Nova Scotian and previously working Banquet Operations in Western Canada.
